A Car From Heaven - By Nancy Cleavinger It was a hot, very hot August day as I stepped out the front door to walk to work a mile away. It was really tiring to walk to work, be on my feet the whole time and walk home rain or shine, day or night. (Read more of this story from the heart) Posted 2/9/10

Is He Just the Beginning and the End? - By Cheryl Goforth
Friday morning, as I was taking the Little Man to school, I was talking with the Holy Spirt and He reminded me that He is the Alpha and Omega. (A reference to the first letter and the last letter in the Greek alphabet) He is the beginning and the end, but as the Spirit revealed...He is everything in between!

Not your Ordinary Everyday Mother-in-law - By LaVila Henry
How are you and your mother-in-law doing? Did you hear about the two cannibals talking? One said to the other, “I hate my mother-in-law.” “Then just eat the noodles,” was the reply. (You’ll get it later.)

Sometimes We Are God’s Angels - By Norma Vera

Valentine’s Day reminds us of cupid who according to Roman mythology was the son of Venus the Roman goddess. He was a make-believe winged child who carried a bow and a quiver full of arrows with which he struck young lovers. His job was to stir and awaken their love for each other.

A Rare Moment - By Cheryl Goforth
The view from our living room picture window reminds me of a postcard. Snow covered ground. Ice and snow grace every branch of every tree and bush. The sky is a wintery gray and predicitons of a warming are just a hope, not a reality.

Sandpaper Slide - By Nancy Cleavinger
Teaching Home Economics for over 36 years became more and more challenging. Some times when I had students that would refuse to do whatever I asked them to do no matter what, a picture of a slide would come to mind.

Ready or Not - By Petra Harbour
Yesterday at life group we were talking about what is going on in the world right now. Though a lot of what’s happening in the world at large may not seem so positive (and for the most part isn’t), there is also a new move of God going on.

FYI - We've Partnered

Just an FYI to all writers and readers. We have partnered with another ministry at COTR to encourage you through the testimonies of those who have received healing.

When my husband and I were desiring a deeper walk with God, we were encouraged to trust God through the testimonies of others, especially testimonies of physical healing. There is just something about hearing the good news of God's healing power in people who are just like you and I...people who we might even know or recognize their faces or names.

Testimonies of healings not only build up the faith to believe God for a personal healing, but also to believe Him in every aspect of life. This partnering will be in symphony with our desire to help reach, relate, restore and release women to live a Kingdom life.

Writers, look for more information through email. To contact us: http://cotrwomensministry@gmail.com

How Long?
Torn between two desires. Torn between two worlds. Both I have tasted, made my choice. The sting of death to the heart, the dying seed, the life that will not perish. I remember the taste of joy that awaits even now, while the bitter taste of death overwhelms me. (read the rest of this post) Posted 1/15/10

The Imprint of a Woman - by Norma Vera
The subject was, “Relating to Other Women”. I struggled to come up with someone I could relate to, and the more I tried, the less I was able. Most of the women I desired to be like, I certainly was not like. (Read more)

A Flurry of Friends - By Cheryl Goforth Mother was a unique woman, and so were her friends. They were truly like a tapestry, even though they were a rather wild looking tapestry.
